Dearest Delia - this will be the fifth Christmas since you left us all so suddenly in July 2014, and I still miss you more than words can ever say, my darling.
We did so much together, shared so much, and loved each other with all our hearts for the 51 years we enjoyed together. On Friday last, I took our two little grand-daughters - Agnes and Amelia - to Thursford to see Father Christmas - something you, yourself, would have arranged and really loved doing, I know. I just wish you were still here, as you used to be, by my side each and every day.
My love for you does not wane with each passing year but just grows even stronger in my memory of the lovely wife you always were to me.
